Quiet

Roatan Casa was designed for groups who want to spend time with their friends and family without hearing the noise in the room next door. The walls are concrete inside and out to prevent sound from traveling. The doors are thick and solid to seal out the noise from the rest of the house. Even the clay roof helps you relax peacefully inside if it's a rainy day.

Bedrooms

Each of the bedroom suites is located well away from the common areas of the house so that guests can get away from the group and relax in the privacy of their room. Each suite is designed with the vacation traveler in mind. The walk-in closets have convenient built-in luggage stands so you can simply open your luggage and start enjoying your stay without unpacking. Your luggage will be out of the way and hidden from other guests. Of course there are hangers and drawers, so that you may unpack when you’re ready. Each room has its own air conditioning unit with remote control to cool the room before bed plus a large ceiling fan so that you can rest in comfort. When you’re ready for bed, you’ll notice the luxuriously soft and silky linens and comfortable mattress.

Master Bedroom

The Master Bedroom has a king size bed, desk, chaise lounge, 46" TV, Sony iPhone/iPod clock radio, treadmill and private bath/tub/shower with walk-in closet.

Bedroom #2

Bedroom #2 has a king size bed, oversize chair that pulls out as an extra twin bed, desk, 37" TV, Sony iPhone/iPod clock radio, private bath/shower and walk-in closet.

Bedroom #3

Bedroom #3 can be made up with two twin beds or one king size bed. There is also a desk, 37" TV, Sony iPhone/iPod clock radio, private bath/shower and walk-in closet.

Bedroom #4

Bedroom #4 can be made up with two twin beds or one king size bed. There is also a desk, 37" TV, Sony iPhone/iPod clock radio, private bath/shower and walk-in closet.

Bathrooms

The home features 5 bathrooms. Each bathroom has walls finished floor to ceiling in Italian travertine tile. The sinks and showers in each suite have “instant-hot” water to avoid hot and cold temperature variations. Showers also have wall-mounted Shampoo/Conditioner/Liquid Soap dispensers. Sinks include built-in soap pumps in the custom stone counter tops.

Car

For your convenience, the home includes a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe to help you explore the island.

Pool

The infinity edge pool is adjacent to the turquoise water of the ocean. Enjoy your favorite beverage while sitting in the pool seeing only water as you watch the sunset on the horizon. The custom glass tile pool is 27’ long and 15’ wide with all the modern conveniences of the finest hotel without the noise and onlookers. When you return from the beach you can rinse the Caribbean salt water at the poolside rock waterfall shower, a great way to freshen up after fun at the beach.

Wheelchair

Roatan Casa is designed to accommodate disabled guests in wheelchairs. The house is on one level and all floors are travertine for easy maneuverability. A covered wheelchair ramp near the garage allows for easy access in the front of the home. In the back of the home, there is another covered wheelchair ramp for access to the pool area.

Dining

It’s a good thing that you’ll be staying for a few days because Roatan Casa has three amazing places to enjoy a good meal. The dining nook next to the kitchen is surrounded by windows facing the ocean. The covered terrace table is near the built-in outdoor grill. And, the outdoor palapa table offers memorable dining while watching the sun set. If you like to cook, you’ll love Roatan Casa’s kitchen with granite counter tops, built-in wine cooler, built-in commercial blender, built-in coffee maker and spacious pantry. Or, if you prefer, concierge will arrange for a local chef to pamper you for about the same price as a nice meal in a U.S. restaurant.

Garage

Roatan Casa is equipped with a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe to save you the hassle and cost of renting a car. Your snorkel gear, Ocean Kayak, Flatstalker push pole boat, two BladeFish 5000 electric water scooters and other toys are protected from the elements inside the attached two car garage with ceramic tile floor and electric garage door openers.

Air Conditioning

Roatan Casa has 7 air conditioners each with a remote control. There are also large ceiling fans in each bedroom, covered terrace and the outdoor palapa. The clay tile roof and concrete walls help to keep the heat out with you comfortable inside.

Phone

Cell phone service is very good on the island, but many phones from the U.S. and other countries may not work on the island or may be extremely expensive to use. For your convenience, the management company will give you a cell phone to use while you are on the island.

TVs

The great room has a 52” LCD flat screen television with surround sound. The home includes a satellite dish that receives stations from around the world or choose from the private collection of over 200 DVD movies in stock. Each bedroom suite is equipped with a wall-mounted 37-46” LCD flat screen with built-in Blu-Ray/DVD/CD player in case you want time to relax on your own.

Computer

A computer is located on the desk in the kitchen so that you can conveniently check email or browse the Internet. If you prefer to work from your personal laptop, the home is equipped with wireless Internet service that offers service in any bedroom and by the pool.

Laundry

You probably don’t want to do laundry while you’re on vacation, but, just in case, you can use the washer and dryer conveniently located off the hallway behind the kitchen.

Treadmill

Stay in shape with one of the best views in the world by running or walking in your air conditioned room overlooking the beautiful turquoise reef.

Security

The Blue Harbour gated community is protected behind an 8’ high concrete wall with 24-hour security at the entry. Roatan Casa has an additional alarm system which notifies the on-site community security. Also, the home has 4 outdoor security cameras keeping a watchful eye on the exterior of the home. In addition, all windows are "hurricane grade" with a layer of plastic inside the glass much like a car windshield.

Safes

All bedrooms are equipped with safes that can be programmed to your personal code or simply swipe any credit card to lock/unlock.

Grill

Outdoor grilling at its finest with your built-in stainless steel gas grill encased in imported marble (with a view like this, grilling is actually fun again).

Dock

Blue Harbour has the longest private dock on the Island of Roatan. The dock is fully lit at night and has fresh well water at the end of the dock for rinsing off the salt water after a swim.

Outdoor Shower

The outdoor shower is the perfect way to rinse salt water off before jumping into the freshwater pool.

Kayak

2 - two-person kayaks are available for guests to explore the calm water inside the reef.

FlatStalker

The Flatstalker push-pole boat is perfect for fishing or to use as a stable boat for one or two people.

Bladefish

2 - state-of-the art water scooters are ready for guests that want to take their snorkeling to the next level. These lithium-ion, battery powered jets will propel you through the water effortlessly.

Swim Raft

Roatan Casa features a private 10' x 10' swim raft anchored amidst prime snorkeling directly in front of Roatan Casa - perfect for relaxing between snorkeling or for sun bathing, lunch or just a little peace and quiet.

Snorkel Gear

Bring your own or choose from an assortment of masks, fins and snorkels in a variety of sizes at the house along with life jackets.

Eco Friendly

To minimize any environmental impact from your visit, Roatan Casa has a 20,000 gallon cistern to collect rain water from the roof complete with filtration and UV sanitation. Energy use is minimized using instant-hot water heaters throughout the house and ceiling fans in all bedrooms.
